About the South Coast Writers Centre

The South Coast Writers Centre is established to be a charity whose purpose is to advance culture by promoting public participation in literature. It does this through presenting a program of activities which support, teach and mentor members of the public in the literary arts.

The South Coast Writers Centre aims to support writers of all stages via its program of creative events and professional development, and to promote the South Coast’s emerging and established writers through the development of audiences.

The South Coast Writers Centre particularly serves writers on the South Coast and Southern Highlands of NSW by providing professional development, services, information and networking events. The South Coast Writers Centre is a membership-based, incorporated charity organisation whose operations are supported by Create NSW and Wollongong City Council.
