SCWC Programs & Opportunities for Local Indie Authors

  • In a partnership with Berry Writers' Festival, the South Coast Writers Centre hosts a panel of local and independently published authors.

    This year’s Berry Writers’ Festival will be held 6 – 8 November. We invite local indie authors to submit their expression of interest to take part in the panel. Applications open until 1 August.

  • The SCWC Indie Book Stall promotes and sells books by members and local authors as part of the twice-yearly Vintage, Book & Art Bazaar.

    Our next Bazaar is scheduled for 22 November 2026. We invite local Illawarra and South Coast authors to submit their books for inclusion in the stall. Must be a SCWC member to apply.
