Shape Shifters (2026)
The latest SCWC anthology of writing, Shape Shifters, launched in June 2026. It includes works from the 2025 SCWC + Wollongong Art Gallery Poetry Award, on the theme ‘shapeshifter’, the Tideland: Art + Word competition with SECCA, the SCWC + River of Art Writing Prize, and the Illawarra Multicultural Services writing program.

Temple (2025)
The 2025 anthology is a collection of creative work developed via the SCWC’s partnerships with other regional cultural organisations. Part One of the anthology presents works that were developed by seven writers who participated in the SCWC + Nan Tien Temple Writers-in-Residence program in 2024. Part Two contains poems from the 2024 South Coast Writers Centre + Wollongong Art Gallery Poetry Award, alongside commentary from esteemed poet and judge Judith Beveridge. Part Three presents the winners of the SCWC + River of Art Festival Flash Fiction competition, and the final section contains the stories that emerged from SCWC’s writing partnership with Illawarra Multicultural Services.

Chroma (2023/24)
Our 2023/24 anthology, named Chroma, collects work by our members and other writers gathered through an open submission process, as well as the winners and shortlisted works from the SCWC Poetry Award 2023, responding to the theme ‘in colour’ and Wollongong Art Gallery’s exhibition Thinking Through Pink.

Mantle (2022)
Our 2022 anthology collects work by writers whose works have made a significant impact over the year in the SCWC + Wollongong Art Gallery Poetry Award, the Berry Writers Festival + SCWC Flash Fiction Competition, the Illawarra Multicultural Services + SCWC Refugee Week Writing Competition, commissioned work in partnership with Shoalhaven Arts & Health and Bundanon Trust, and short stories gathered from our members during an open submission process.

Legacies (2021)
Legacies, SCWC's Anthology of writing in 2021, includes work by invitation from some of the writers who have had a significant impact on the Centre, commissioned work, as well as a curated selection of work from its current members gathered through an open submission process.
This anthology of writing explores the concept of legacies through works from emerging and award winning local writers, including: Mark Tredinnick, Judi Morison, Adara Enthaler, Myfanwy Williams, Samson J. L. Seeking Horizons (2014)
Seeking Horizons, the second anthology produced by the South Coast Writers Centre, provides a wealth of short fiction and poetry from writers across the South Coast. Twenty-two authors explore their worlds across one hundred pages, from nostalgic Australian landscapes to poignant portrayals of loss. Judges Ron Pretty and Mark Tredinnick introduce the volume, which also features the winners of the SCWC HARP HIV/AIDS Writing Competition from 2012 and 2013.
