SCWC Anthology 2025
The 2025 SCWC anthology, Temple, is a collection of creative work developed via the SCWC’s partnerships with other regional cultural organisations. Part One of the anthology presents works that were developed by seven writers who participated in the SCWC + Nan Tien Temple Writers-in-Residence program in 2024. Part Two contains poems from the 2024 South Coast Writers Centre + Wollongong Art Gallery Poetry Award, alongside commentary from esteemed poet and judge Judith Beveridge. Part Three presents the winners of the SCWC + River of Art Festival Flash Fiction competition, and the final section contains the stories that emerged from SCWC’s writing partnership with Illawarra Multicultural Services.

SCWC Anthology 2023/4
Our 2023/4 anthology, named Chroma, collects work by writers collected new work from members gathered through an open submission process, as well as the winners and shortlisted works from the SCWC Poetry Award 2023, responding to the theme ‘in colour’, and Wollongong Art Gallery’s exhibition Thinking Through Pink:

Legacies: SCWC’s 2021 Anthology included a poem commissioned by the SCWC from esteemed local poet Mark Tredinnick, the winning poems from the SCWC + Wollongong Art Gallery Poetry Award 2021 and creative works from members gathered from an open submission process.
