SCWC Book Launch Services

Members can apply to have their book launched using the SCWC Book Launch Service at Coledale Community Hall. This service is by application and is subject to staff and calendar availability.

Budget Package

Includes:

  • one staff member

  • includes 3 hour Coledale Community hall hire (for an event up to 2 hours plus bump in/bump out)

  • ticketing set up

  • marketing of the event in SCWC newsletter, social media and website

  • staff member will offer assistance with set up and pack down (chairs, tables, mics, tea urn, cups, etc.)

  • staff member will manage ticketing at the door and sell books with SCWC EFTPOS (if required)

You will need to:

  • assist with set up and pack down of chairs and tables, and book sales

  • arrange an MC for the event

  • arrange catering or BYO drinks (tea, coffee, milk, wine, etc.) and snacks (if required)

  • bring your own books for sale, or arrange a bookseller (NB. admin charge of %5 on all sales via SCWC EFTPOS)

COST: $250 (extra hours: $60/hr)

Full Package

Includes:

  • two staff members

  • includes a 3 hour Coledale Community hall hire (for 2 hour event plus bump in/bump out)

  • ticketing set up

  • marketing of the event in SCWC newsletter, social media (*posts boosted with Ad) and website

  • staff members will enact all set up and pack down (chairs, tables, mics, tea urn, cups, etc.)

  • staff members will set up tea & coffee table

  • staff member will manage ticketing at the door and sell books with SCWC EFTPOS (if required)

You will need to:

  • arrange an MC for the event

  • arrange catering or BYO drinks (tea, coffee, milk, wine, etc) and snacks (if required)

  • bring your own books for sale, or arrange local bookseller (NB. admin charge of %5 on all sales via SCWC)

COST: $500 (extra hours: $90/hr)
