Welcome to our community!
We are your go-to organisation for writing opportunities in the South Coast region, including festivals, events, courses, workshops and writing groups.
If you are looking to refine your writing skills, explore new professional avenues, or connect with like-minded readers and writers, South Coast Writers Centre is your ultimate hub.
We believe that everyone has a unique voice and story to share, and we are committed to empowering you to express your ideas with confidence and creativity alongside fellow writers.
Our members’ poetry anthology, 34 to 37 Degrees South, is open for submissions for 2025!
This year’s theme is WORDS / NO WORDS.
The editors are looking for engaging poetry of all forms. We want writing that is memorable and uses language well, writing that shows a clever take on the theme ‘words/no words’ and points the reader to the dynamic poetry of the Illawarra, South Coast, Far South Coast and Southern Highlands of NSW.
Submissions close 5 September, 11:59pm. Before submitting your work please consider browsing our past anthologies online or purchasing a physical copy from our shop.
