IMS Refugee Week Writing Competition

The Illawarra Multicultural Services (IMS) hosted a Refugee Week Writing Competition in collaboration with the South Coast Writers Centre (SCWC) with the theme of the competition being ‘Healing’. The event has reached new heights with a new record of over 210 entries from as far north as Bulli and as far south as Nowra.

The Refugee Week Writing competition is a creative space that provides opportunity for all members of the community to express their ideas and reflect on or relate to the refugee experience from any perspective through writing.
