Bibliotherapy - Joshua Lobb

His novel, Remission, won the LitLink Unpublished Manuscript Award in 2014, as well as two residential fellowships at Varuna, the Writers House. His ‘novel in stories’ about grief and climate change, The Flight of Birds (2019) is published by Sydney University Press. He is also part of the multi-authored project, 100 Atmospheres: Studies in Scale and Wonder (Open Humanities Press, 2019). Joshua holds a PhD on the novel form from UNSW and has published on Creative Writing pedagogy and narrative theory.

Each week in the middle of COVID-19, the South Coast Writers Centre invited one local writer or curator to speak on what reading they prescribe for these challenging times. Introduced by SCWC director Dr Sarah Nicholson, these bite-sized videos are warm, intelligent, and engaging.
